Sébastien Trudelle has been passionate about the art of pastry making since childhood. Awarded the prestigious title of Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France) in the Patissier/Confectioner category in 2019, Chef Trudelle has built an illustrious career marked by both professional achievements and competitive success. Born in 1982 in Le Mans, France, his journey includes two formative years working with the renowned chocolatier Franck Fresson in Metz and a notable 5th place finish at the 2009 World Chocolate Masters.
Today, Chef Trudelle co-owns and directs Smores, a celebrated chocolate and pastry shop in Meerssen (Netherlands), alongside his wife, fellow pastry chef Jennifer Heijnen. Known for his deep connection to the world of chocolate, Trudelle is recognized for his exceptional creativity, technical precision, and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of pastry and chocolate craftsmanship.
