Interesting Fact:

The street Rue des Archives gets its name from being home to the French National Archives, located at No. 58 Rue des Archives. The archives were established during the tumultuous times of the French Revolution in the late 1700s to centralize and preserve the private and public records seized by revolutionaries. As a result, the archives house one of the largest and most important collections in the world, with documents dating back to AD 625! After visiting the Valrhona boutique, be sure to stop by the Archives museum and its beautiful garden, both open to the public.

Architectural Excellence and Environmental Commitment

The architecture of the space prioritizes natural materials and those derived from a revalorization approach for the layout and decoration of this new gourmet setting. Our bulk chocolate offering is designed to reduce our environmental impact related to packaging, allowing everyone to purchase the exact amount of chocolate needed for their future recipes. The design of the boutique, by the CBA Design agency, won Silver at the 2024 Strategies Design Grand Prix in the Commercial Architecture category. It is truly a space worth discovering on your next trip to Paris.
